Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling
Rules for assessment deposits, workshops, and work already underway.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Layer Pulse Core for assessment, workshop, or compare engagements described on this site. Informational browsing is free and not refundable.
Timeframe
Refund requests should be emailed to info@layer-pulsecore.digital within fourteen days of the event that triggers eligibility below, unless a longer period is required by Malaysian law.
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, or if you cancel in writing before we begin timed walks and before any deposit becomes non-refundable under your brief.
Partial refund
If you cancel after timed walks have started but before the report is delivered, we may refund the unused portion after deducting work already performed, typically billed against hours expended at the engagement’s implied daily rate. Deposits may be retained up to forty percent when cancellation occurs inside seven days of the scheduled kick-off.
Non-refundable items
- Completed reports and delivered readouts
- Workshop sessions already held
- Compare passes already completed
- Third-party room hire booked at your request once non-refundable to the venue
Process
Email the engagement reference, reason, and payment proof. We confirm eligibility within five business days and state any deduction.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days where the provider allows, otherwise by bank transfer to an account you nominate.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice before kick-off. Later reschedules may incur a MYR 300 administration fee. No-shows for scheduled readout or workshop calls without twenty-four hours’ notice forfeit that session fee.
Work already started and materials
Time spent on inventory calls, device captures, and drafting is billable if you cancel mid-engagement. We do not sell physical goods; there are no shipping returns. Digital drafts remain our property until final payment.
